Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Club: Kids in grades 1-6 can receive a free book from Barnes & Noble by reading 8 books over the summer. They will need to fill out a Summer Reading Journaland bring the journal to a B&N location when they are finished. They will then receive a coupon for a free book.
Borders Double Dog Dare You Reading program: Kids 12 and under can join the Borders Double Dog Dare You Reading program. They will earn a free book when they read 10 books, fill out this form and bring it in to any Borders, Waldenbooks, or Borders express store by August 26, 2010.

So what is Swagbucks, you may be wondering. It is a search engine that rewards you in their money (Swagbucks). Are swagbucks real money? NO, but they are redeemable on the site for prizes! What kind of prizes? Well, yes they have some cheesey prizes, but they also have some AWESOME prizes. Gift cards for Best Buy, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and lots more. I did a LOT of my christmas shopping last year on Amazon.com thanks to Swag bucks. They also offer Magazine subscriptions, and songs to download on iTunes as prizes.
How do you earn these swagbucks? Using their search engine as you would any other. It is not the worlds greatest search engine, but decent enough, and randomly through out your searching you win swagbucks.
They also have a daily poll, you answer that and earn 1 swagbuck each day. They also have swagTV you watch videos on all sorts of topics, and after watching so many you earn a few swagbucks. They also have Megabucks Fridays. On Fridays you have a chance to win larger amounts of swagbucks with your searching. You also earn points for referring others to the site. For each person that signs up under you, you areawarded bucks matching theirs up to the first 1000 swagbucks. So if someone that joined under you wins 9 swagbucks for a search, so do you. They also have swagcodes they giveaway, these can be found on their blog(there IS a link on the swagbucks home page) or sometimes on the home page itself. these codes also have varying reward amounts. There is a swagbucks fan page on FB, and it even lets you know when to look for a swag code!

I have just a few beginner’s tips. These are not ideas all my own, but ones I’ve heard in different places, and all ideas I use myself.
First, when You order your freebies, there is always a small form to fill out. The companies need to know who they are sending to, and where to send. Well, there is a great little program that helps auto fill these forms. Go to www.roboform.com, and download and install the program. Fill out all the info, I never put anything like my SS# or bank info into it… just my name, address and birthdate.
On that note, get a new email. go to any of the numerous places you can get a free email address. Yahoo, Gmail, hotmail, live.com, even AOL is free now. But make an email address JUST for your freebies. There will b junk mail sent to you, and no one wants to clog there every day email. I go weeks at a time sometimes with out checking my “freebie” email. But some times you will have to check it, if you are requesting coupons sent to you.
